TDP leader Atchannaidu apologizes for his remarks against Speaker

The Andhra Pradesh state Assembly Privilege Committee meeting chaired by Chairman Kakani Govardhan Reddy was held today at the Assembly Committee Hall in Amravati.The Privilege Committee has issued notices to several TDP leaders in the past for making objectionable remarks on the Andhra Pradesh state Assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram.

AP TDP president Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, who received the notices, appeared before the committee in person today.

On this occasion, the committee inquired into the objectionable remarks made by Atchannaidu against the Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh state Assembly.

However, Atchannaidu explained to the Privilege Committee, and he apologized to Speaker Tammineni Sitaram.

With this, the Privilege Committee withdrew the action against him.He was set free from taking action for the objectionable remarks.

On the other hand, former MLA Kuna Ravikumar and MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu did not appear before the Privilege Committee.

The Privilege Committee incensed over Kuna Ravikumar for not attending the in-person meeting.However, the Privilege Committee is likely to take action against Kuna Ravikumar as he did not attend the meeting.

Contrary to this, Kuna Ravikumar says he has not received any Privilege Committee notices.
