Here comes big relief for Puratchi Thalaivi, the revolutionary leader, Amma of Tamil Nadu.Former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa cleared of corruption charges by Karnataka high court in disproportionate assets case.

Ex- Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa has been acquitted as not being guilty of the disproportionate asset cases by the Karnataka High court.The Karnataka High Court after 18 years revealed Jayalalithaa from the Disproportionate asset case lodged on her by Dr.Subramanyam in 1996 A special bench of the Karnataka High Court on Monday acquitted J.Jayalalithaa in the disproportionate assets case in which she was convicted and sentenced for four years’ imprisonment by a trial court on September 27, 2014.The high court also cleared three of her aides who were also convicted by the trial court.The high court set aside all the Judgements pronounced by the Karnataka special trail court that barred Jayalalithaa from contesting in election for 6 years, Fine of Rs 100 cr and 4 years of imprisonment and acquitted her as not being guilty of the charges in the disproportionate assets case on the whole.

Along with her, her said close alley Sashikala, Illavarasi, and her disowned foster son Sudhakaran were also found not guilty by the Karnataka High court.Its known that the special court had sentenced Jaya and her associated to four years in jail and imposed a heavy fine of Rs 100 crore on the AIADMK supremo and Rs 10 crore each on three others.

As per reports Jaya is planning to take oath as CM.Jaya likely to be sworn in as Tamil Nadu CM on May 17.There is speculation in Chennai that Ms Jayalalithaa, 67, may opt to advance the state elections after today’s verdict.
