The coronavirus has been a problem since last March and we have been seeing big celebrities also falling prey to this novel virus.Now the latest news is that actor turned politician Captain Vijayakanth has reportedly been tested COVID-19 positive and has been admitted to MIOT Hospital in Chennai for treatment.
The 68-year-old actor who is also the founding member of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) has reportedly been keeping unwell for the past few weeks and it is being said that Vijaykanth has been infected during one of his DMDK party’s recent event.As of now, the news is that he is stable now and might get discharged soon.
MIOT hospital’s official statement says, “He is completely stable and admitted in MIOT Hospitals, Chennai.He is expected to make a full recovery and should be ready for discharge soon”.
Thus, the rumor mills have been put to a stop”.Vijayakanth was elected as an MLA in the 2006 and 2011 general elections in Tamil Nadu, before losing the 2016 polls.Stay tuned for more updates!
