Tamil actor Suriya currently awaits the release of Sudha Kongara’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ that will have a direct release on OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video, on October 30th.Produced by the actor’s production house 2D entertainment and Guneet Monga, the film is said to be based on the life of GR.Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan that will simultaneously release in Telugu as ‘Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra’. It is being said that Suriya is all set to join hands with Tamil director Pandiraj for a project which will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
Interestingly, this will mark the actor and director’s second collaboration after the 2015 drama, ‘Pasanga 2’.
Now the latest update is that Suriya is likely to be seen playing a politician in this film.
He already played the role of a politician in his recent release ‘NGK’, which was directed by Selvaraghavan.The formal announcement of this project is expected during the Dusshera season and it will go on sets from the month of November.
Besides this film, he will also be joining hands with mass director Hari for ‘Aruvaa’ and has a movie with Vetrimaaran titled ‘Vaadivasal’, which is based on a popular Tamil novel of the same name under his kitty at present.Keep watching this space for more updates!
