Kollywood star Suriya is all set to come up with the biopic on Air Deccan founder Captain GR.Gopinath titled ‘Soorarai Pottru’, which will get released in Telugu as ‘Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra’.This film which was supposed to release this summer was later postponed due to the corona outbreak.
The latest news is that on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi Suriya took on to his twitter and announced that this film is heading for an OTT release by skipping its theatrical release and the film will be out in the OTT platform Amazon prime on the 30th of October.
Suiya tweeted saying- “Vinayagar Chathurthi wishes to all! #SooraraiPottruOnPrime @PrimeVideoIN”.Written and directed by Sudha Kongara, Aparna Balamurali is playing the female lead in the film.Karunas, Jackie Shroff, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal are playing crucial roles in the film.
Suriya’s home production banner 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment is bankrolling this project while GV.Prakash is composing music for the film.Suriya decided to head for a digital release after he realized that the theaters would not reopen anytime soon.
