Recently we have seen the Korean film ‘Miss Granny‘ being successfully made into Tollywood as ‘Oh Baby’, which had Samantha playing the title role and directed by Nandini Reddy.This remake has become a super success at the box office and Sam’s performance in the film has also been widely appreciated.
The interesting news is that star producer Suresh Babu is now gearing to remake two more Korean movies, ‘Midnight Runners’ and ‘Dancing Queen’ in Telugu.Not only these two films, but it is also being said that the ace producer has grabbed the remake rights of almost 10 Korean films and will be bringing them on track one by one.
As per the latest update, ‘Swamy Ra Ra‘ fame director is carving the Telugu version of ‘Midnight Runners‘, with Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles.On the other hand ‘Dictator’ and ‘Sakshyam’ fame director Sriwass is on board to direct the remake of ‘Dancing Queen’.
‘Midnight Runners‘ is a 2017 comedy action film that is made with US$7 million and collected US$38.7 million dollars.The same kind of profits is expected for the Telugu remake of this movie.On the other side, ‘Dancing Queen’ is a romantic comedy film that collected US$26.4 million.More details about these remake films will be revealed soon.
