The petition filed by the AP government on insider trading was heard in the Supreme Court today.Senior advocate Dushyant Dave argued on behalf of the AP state govt.

He said there were several corruption allegations in the Amravati lands purchase.

Currently, the case is under preliminary investigation.

He told the court that the complaints were received when the new government came in 2019 regarding insider trading in the Amaravati lands purchase. The defendants disagreed with the government’s claims.

However, the Supreme court said that as no one complained about the irregularities in Amravati lands, there is no need for an inquiry. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court dismissed the case.
