A biopic on Badminton star Pullela Gopichand was announced in a grand fashion nearly two years ago.Fox Star Studios and Abundantia Entertainment had announced that they are making the biopic on the life of the former badminton player and actor Sudheer Babu is all set to play the role of Pullela Gopichand in this biopic of the current Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton Team.
The film was supposed to be directed by Praveen Sattaru of ‘Guntur Talkies’ and ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ fame but there has been no information on this film after that.But in a latest interview while promoting his upcoming film, ‘V’, Sudheer said that this biopic will be going on floors from December this year.
However, Sudheer is tight-lipped about revealing any further details about the film.
It is being said that the film will be made on a huge scale on a pan India scale and the film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Sudheer Babu who is also a professional badminton player is undergoing extremely rigorous training to prepare to play this role as the script demands a flexible body.Keep watching this space for more updates!
