Chennai, November 20, : , Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin launched Saturday the Tamil Nadu State Child Policy. The government claims that the policy was developed taking into account the holistic needs of children, such as their developmental goals, their nutrition, education and safety, non-discrimination based on sex.
According to the government, Rs.207.59 crore was paid in solatium for 6,493 children who lost one or both of their parents to Covid-19.
Stalin launched also the ForensicDNA Profile Search Tool, which would allow for the restoration of lost children to their parents and the identification of interstate criminals as well as identification of other bodies.
