Senior director K.Raghavendra Rao who was away from films from the past few years has recently announced a new film which is going to be a sequel for his yesteryear super hit film ‘Pelli Sandadi’ which had Srikanth, Ravali and Deepti Bhatnagar playing the lead roles.‘Pelli Sandadi’ was also remade in Hindi and Tamil languages. The sequel is now tilted as ‘Pelli SandaD’ where Raghavendra Rao will supervise the direction of this project and the film will be directed by a lady director Gowri Ronanki.
However, Raghavendra Rao only announced the name of the movie earlier and hid the identity of the hero and heroine in it and opened it to the suspense of the people.
Now the latest update is that actor Srikanth’s son, Roshan who made his debut with ‘Nirmala Convent’, is said to be the hero of the new wedding.K.Krishna Mohan Rao and Arka Media Works will bankroll the romantic entertainer.The makers are currently on a lookout for the female lead.The script for this sequel has been locked and the film will go on floors soon.
MM.Keeravani, who scored music for the original, has been roped in to compose music for the sequel as well and he has already begun recording songs for the film.
Shiva Shakti Datta and Sreedhar Seepana are penning the story and dialogues for the film.Stay tuned for more updates!
