London 7 August : At at least six top Russian military officials are suspected of having been fired in the months since Russia attacked Ukraine on the 24th of February according to a British intelligence report released on Sunday. The performance of the troops of the army during the war has been costly for Russian military’s top leadership, likely leading to the demotion of at most six of the commanders the dpa news agency reported the Ministry of Defence of the UK’s Ministry of Defence as saying in its monthly intelligence update.
In addition, General Alexander Dvornikov was removed after receiving the overall the command of the mission in Ukraine.
