It is already a known news that Young hero Nithiin has bought the Telugu remake rights of national award-winning Bollywood film ‘Andhadhun’ which had Ayushmann Khurrana playing the lead role.‘Venkatadri Express’ and ‘Express Raja’ fame director Merlapaka Gandhi was brought on board to direct the film. The makers have been searching to find a suitable leading lady to play Tabu’s role from the original and the names of Anasuya, Nayantara, Shilpa Shetty, Ramya Krishna, and Ileana have popped up for this bold role but none of them worked out.Tabu was also under consideration to play herself in the remake too but it is said that Tabu was not in the budget limit of the producers.
Now the latest update is that the makers decided to go with Shriya Saran and locked the actress.Shriya finally broke her silence about it and confirmed in an interview that she has been approached for the role.
The official update on this news is said to be out soon.Ismart beauty Nabha Natesh has been finalized as the other female lead.
Another interesting news is that the makers have chalked out a long schedule for the film and it is being said that the entire shoot will be wrapped in this single schedule that will happen in Pondicherry.This Telugu remake will be produced by Tagore Madhu and will be financed under Nithiin’s home banner Sreshth movies.Stay tuned for more updates!
