The ECI also issued a press statement asking the public to file objections, if any, on the application submitted by Pawan Kalyan.many thought that it was mere formality to get registered with ECI.But here comes the shocker.

The Election Commission of India released the latest list of new political parties and Jana Sena Party does not find a place.According to the EC, the total number of political parties registered this year rose from 1,593 to 1.699 but Pawan political baby failed to get into the registered list.JSP, floated amid much hype and hoopla by Pawan Kalyan did not contest the elections and does not even have a formal organisational structure. With no activity palpable, the EC decided against including JSP in its list.

In the newly registered list, UP topped the list with 31 new parties, while in Haryana, Maharastra and Andhra Pradesh have 14, 13 and 9 parties respectively.Merely submitting an application does not mean that the party is registered as there are other procedures to be followed.

In order to contest in elections his party needs to get registered.Pawan might do this to field his candidates for GHMC elections coming soon.
