New Delhi, Aug 22 : With a number of layoffs across various companies such as job portal Shine.com on Monday unveiled an innovative program, dubbed Startup Winter Initiative, to offer a supportive platform for those affected by the layoffs, helping them in getting through these challenging times.The platform claimed to have joined forces with several companies in this endeavor as outplacement partners to provide the best assistance and connect them with the right employers to find a new job.

The platform stated that there are a variety of advantages that applicants can take advantage of when they enroll in Shine.com’s Startup Winter Initiative.
In the first place, they will receive an Immediate Joiner Tag when they create an account.This will make them more visible to recruiters and increase their profile’s visibility.
Then, they will be included of an exclusive section that is visible to recruiters, where candidates’ chances of hiring decisions and job shortlisting increases by as much as 75 percent.
Thirdly, candidates can connect with more than 50k recruiters in PAN India.
