Ghmc is moving forward intending to develop infrastructure in Hyderabad.Ghmc is constructing BT (Bituminous) Roads, Flyovers, bridges and underpasses in the city as per the directions of the Minister of Municipal department, Urban Development and IT, KTR.
However, the Shaikpet Flyover Intermediate Ring Road from Rethibowli to Gachibowli is being constructed with six lines to control the traffic congestion at Sheikhpet, Phillaur Junction, OU Colony, Whisper Valley Junction.
Ghmc Officials said the construction work was nearing completion.
Also, the Officials said the construction of the Shaikpet Flyover intermediate ring road would provide relief to the people who are facing severe difficulties in getting to the high-tech city.
Construction of the 2.8-km Flyover at an estimated cost of Rs 333.55 crore has been completed.Of the 74 pillar structures, 72 pier caps have been completed, 440 PSC girders, 144 composite graders and 73 slabs have been completed.
The Ghmc Officials said 93 per cent of the work has been completed so far and all the work will be completed by December.
They made it clear that the Flyover would be made available to the city dwellers by December.
