Now it is Shahid Kapoor’s turn to show his talent over the OTT platforms and the news is that he has signed a project.
This ‘Shandaar’ actor got a bounce back to the industry with his remake of ‘Kabir Singh’ from the original Telugu movie, ‘Arjun Reddy’ directed by Sandeep Vanga.
The actor without wasting any time has lined up another remake.He played the lead role in the movie ‘Jersey’ which was a good hit in Telugu with the same name.
Shahid Kapoor has recently wrapped up shooting for ‘Jersey’ after shooting for it amidst the pandemic.Post ‘Jersey’, the actor was all set to collaborate with Shashank Khaitan on ‘Yodha’ – an action film but due to creative differences, Shahid Kapoor walked out of the film. Shahid Kapoor is also all set to mark his debut with an action-packed web-series for Amazon Prime and the series has been tiled as ‘Gavar’.This Raj & DK directorial series will star South star Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan alongside Shahid.
Sources say that this hero has given 6 months of a shooting schedule to the two-season series. In these six months, there will be four schedules and one of them will be in the beach city Goa.The makers have included several beach sequences, making two cities ideal for filming and the shooting will kick off in January 2021.
