Telangana PCC Chief Revanth Reddy received a huge shock from one of the Congress leaders from the Malkajgiri constituency.Former Malkajgiri constituency legislator and Congress Senior leader Akula Rajender has resigned from the Congress party.
He recently announced his resignation from the Congress party’s primary membership. To this end, he issued a statement.
Akula Rajender said the decision to leave the Congress party was taken in the wake of the political situation in the state. He thanked AICC President Sonia Gandhi for giving him the opportunity to become a councillor, a member of the Central Film Censor Board and an MLA in 2009.
A copy of the resignation letter was faxed to Sonia Gandhi, and TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy, Akula Rajender said.
However, TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy is trying to inspire his party leaders and activists after his election as Telangana PCC president.
He made efforts to unite all the Congress party leaders.
On the other hand, Revanth Reddy is carrying out huge criticisms against various programs introduced by the Telangana govt led by Chief Minister KCR.In this context, the resignation of Akula Rajender is a loss to some extent to the party.
