Gomez also revealed that she was diagnosed with lupus in 2014, which causes her to gain weight due to side effects.

Despite this, she was often shamed for her appearance.The singer said that she holds a lot of water weight when taking medication for lupus, which causes her weight to fluctuate.

She encourages people to not be ashamed of anything and to remember that nobody knows their full story.Gomez believes that people should not be shamed for who they are, what they look like, or who they love.
