Aybak Jan 1, : , A total 300 security personnel were commissioned to the security forces of this establishment, after having received military training in Afghanistan’s northern Samangan Province, according to Khair Khaw Samangani, the public relations officer for the province. According to the official, “300 security personnel of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were trained at the 209 Al-Fatah Corps training centre and they graduated yesterday.”
According to Xinhua, the newly-graduated security officers are well versed in light and heavy weapons.They can also serve anywhere else in the country.
Khair Khaw stated that it would provide training for its security personnel, but did not give more information.
Qari Fasihuddin (the army chief under the Taliban-led caretaker government) has stressed the importance of building a strong army in order to secure the war-torn nation.
