Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was granted bail on Tuesday, but the court refused to grant him bail.A Mumbai court has remanded 23-year-old Aryan Khan in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till Thursday.
He will remain in NCB custody till October 7.The judge opinion that the case needed to be investigated.Along with Aryan Khan, Aryan friend Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also remanded in NCB custody till October 7.They appear to have shed tears when the judge announced the decision.
Aryan Khan faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.Depending on the cases registered against Aryan, he faces a maximum sentence of ten years and a fine of Rs 1 lakh.
Police have registered cases under various sections against Aryan and seven others who were arrested.There are sections 8 (c), 20 (b), 27 red with section 35 of the NDPS Act.During their arrest, NCB officials seized 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD, 21 grams of charas and 22 tablets of MDMA.In such cases, a small sentence of up to one year imprisonment or a fine of up to Rs.A fine of Rs 10,000 will be imposed.Both are executed at once.Imprisonment for up to ten years, Rs.Lakh will be fined.He faces up to 10 to 20 years in prison and a fine of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh if caught selling commercial goods.
Authorities said Aryan Khan was seen crying during the interrogation.
Authorities say he was found to have been taking drugs for four years.Aryan said he continued to take drugs even when he was abroad.
Attempts are being made by Shahrukh Lawyer to release his son on bail.Shah Rukh has also postponed his shooting schedule.
Criminal lawyer Satish Maneshinde has been given the responsibility of arguing the Aryan Khan case.He worked at eminent lawyer Ramjethmalani.
He has argued many high profile cases related to Bollywood.He is raising several points to bring Aryan out.
