On Sunday night Chennai police had arrested an American national who set to travel from Chennai to Delhi on Jet airways flight.In the routine security checks the CISF staff identified a satellite phone in the hand bag of American lady.
Usually the satellite phones are used by senior officials in defense department.Especially there is a declared ban on the use of satellite phones in India on use by normal people.
The incident erupted another series of snooping moments, where the CISF officials thinking the lady could be an American agent.Even the woman is not giving proper answers for the officials questions, hence the CISF team canceled her trip and taken her in to custody for further investigation.
As per woman she had came to India on 18th of this month and stayed in star hotel in Chennai city.She also went to Tirupathi in the meanwhile and she is working as a lecturer in Chicago state university.
She arguing with CISF team on this satellite phone and taking account of this saying its her personnel phone and the phone with her since when she started the vacation.CISF team taken this issue very seriously on the threat of terror activities in the country.
They are taken the required legal acceptance to investigate the issue further.
