However, this isn’t the first time Nitish Kumar has opted to get on the RJD boat after dumping the NDA ship.In a dramatic twist of things in 2015, he had decided to walk with Lalu Prasad’s RJD.However, the JD-U veteran, in a surprise move in 2017, pulled out the of alliance with RJD and then struck a deal with the NDA.

The events of Tuesday have caused many to people question Nitish Kumar’s motives, regarding whether he had planned this move ahead of time following his swearing in as Chief Minister of Bihar for the seventh time in November 2020.

Sources say Nitish Kumar believes that the BJP in making R.C.P.Singh Minister and removing his trusted aide and also attempted to determine his importance.Disappointed, he did not nominate Singh to Rajya Sabha a year later (in 2022).Additionally, JD-U accused Singh of being involved in corruption, which forced the former Union minister to quit the party.

The heated debate that occurred in Bihar Assembly in March this year between Nitish Kumar and Speaker Vijay Sinha (appointed from BJP the quota) has also raised some issues of concern.Actually, Nitish Kumar also accused Sinha of breaking Constitutional norms.

The whispers in the JD-U suggested “BJP’s numerous attempts to discredit Nitish Kumar”.In actual fact, after the incident, Nitish Kumar began maintaining his distance from Delhi.

The JD-U has claimed that the BJP tried to cause rifts among party lawmakers with the assistance of R.C.P.Singh.

Nitish Kumar, who had witnessed the Jyotiradtiya Scindia episode in Madhya Pradesh and the Eknath Shinde saga in Maharashtra He was concerned about the “possibilities of a sabotage by the BJP” sources claimed.
