Mumbai, November 18th : .In an ongoing saga, NCP Minister Nawab Mlik said Thursday that Sameer Wankhede, NCB officer, was a ‘Muslim.
He threatened to impose severe consequences on his ex-wife’s families if they speak out. The crusade to find out how an NCB officer allegedly created a fake caste certification to secure a high-paying central job in a reserved category was continued by the Nationalist Congress Party National Spokesperson who released the purported School Learning Certificates of Wankhede that he used to leave one school and join another because he had changed his ‘change of residency’ status some 25 years back.
He is the first from St.Paul High School Dadar.This was his Class 2 school.On June 27, 1986, he moved to Wadala as a result of moving to a different address.
As was customary in those days, the two handwritten certificates show the same details.They include the name of the pupil as “Sameer Dawood Wankhede”, DoB “14-12-1979” in words, and the religion as “Muslim”.
These and other information have been submitted to the Hon.Bombay High court, which will issue interim orders today.Malik stated that Wankhede had been involved in frauds, and was an expert at creating fake certificates.
Malik was countered by the Wankhede family who produced purported SLCs as well as a 2021 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corp.computer-generated Birth Certificate.
This certificate shows Sameer’s name, Zahedbano mother and Dnyandeo Kachruji Wankhede father.
Half of the information was shared by those with bad intentions to discredit Sameer Wankhede.An error was made.This was later corrected by Mr.DNYANDEV, following all the legal procedures and formalities in 1989.Kranti RedkarWankhede’s wife stated that all the documents had been accepted by and confirmed by the school principal.
She posted the purportedly corrected SLCs to challenge the Malik ones — which was a 3-year gap.
Malik dismissed these claims and pointed out that all original handwritten documents have been scanned by the BMC.The SLCs for the schools were also retrieved from the electronic records.
Malik stated in his court affidavit that he verified Wankhede’s birth records, which are maintained at Sr.Number.BMC E Ward.

Malik stated that he had sent the entire document to all three police chiefs in Mumbai and Maharashtra, as well as the Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, and requested an investigation.
Further, the minister claimed Wankhede threatened Dr.Shabana Quraishi’s first wife and had trapped his cousin brother in fake drug cases.He warned her that he would do it again for all her family members if she spoke out.
Wankhede, an IRS-2008 batch officer, is currently working with NCB Mumbai.The NCP Minister confirmed that Wankhede will lose his job, which he obtained on the basis of providing such fraudulent documents, and promised more revelations in order to uncover the truth.
