Sanaa : , Nov 19, 2018 – Multiple airstrikes were launched by the Saudi-led coalition on military bases controlled in Yemeni capital Sanaa by the Houthi militia, Houthi media reported.According to the media channel, airstrikes were launched on Thursday morning at Al-Nahdayn and Dhahban camps in Sanaa’s northern and southern Sanaa.The channels did not provide further information.
According to Xinhua, the airstrikes were carried out hours after Al-Arabiya TV (owned by Saudi Arabia) reported that a coalition had intercepted a bomb-laden aircraft aimed at Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport.
Recent cross-border drone and missile attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi militia have intensified.The Yemeni rebels launched a massive offensive in February against the Saudi-backed government to seize Marib, a central Yemeni province that is rich in oil.
