Sathupalli MLA and TDP leader Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who recently arrested in cash for vote scam gets bail.ACB special court granted bail to Sandra and imposed several restrictions.
The court asked Sandra to submit a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and also insisted him not to leave his assembly constituency, Satthupalli.Earlier, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah was questioned at the Anti-Corruption Bureau office and taken into custody.
The TDP MLA is the fifth accused in the sensational scandal that hit the headlines during the MLC elections.
Sandra Venkata Veeraiah is stated to be one of the key operatives on behalf of the TDP in the sordid saga of buying votes to win the MLC polls.
It may be recalled that the Telugu Desam Party MLA A.Revanth Reddy, Uday Simha and Harry Sebastian who were arrested and were on bail in the case.Sandra is likely to be released from Charlapalli Central jail any time soon.
