Tollywood’s macho man Rana Daggubati has been confirmed for the other male lead in Sithara Entertainment’s production number 12.The film is an official remake of the Malayalam super hit film ‘Ayyapanum Koshiyum‘ which has Powerstar Pawan Kalyan as the main lead.
This film was announced on the eve of Dussehra and was formally launched with a small pooja ceremony earlier this week.The regular shoot is expected to commence from 2nd January and Trivikram is said to be penning the dialogues for this remake.
Saagar Chandra will be directing this untitled movie and SS.Thaman is the music director.
Now the latest update on this remake is that national award-winning actor Samuthirakani has been roped into this film to play Rana Daggubati’s father which is also a powerful role.Samuthirakani became a known face to the Telugu audience after acting as the father of Dhanush in ‘Raghuvaran Btech’ and also as the bad guy in Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo‘.
The film’s regular shoot will commence from January.While the first schedule is said to start in Hyderabad at the Aluminium factory.
After the schedule comes to an end, the crew will head to Pollachi for a crucial schedule.Before the team head to Pollachi, a special set is being erected for which Art Director AS.Prakash is currently working on.Stay tuned for more updates!
