After a string of flops, Sai Dharam Tej is back with a bang with ‘Chitralahari’ and the recently released ‘Prati Roju Pandage’.With ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’ turning out to be the biggest hit in his career and the film’s business touched almost around Rs 50 crores, it looks like this young hero is now looking to expand his market by doing big-budget films. News is that, if industry grapevine is to be believed, Sai Dharam Tej is in final stages of discussion for a period drama under the direction of ‘Ragada’ and ‘Bindaas’ fame Veeru Potla.It is said that this film will be set in the backdrop of the Sri Krishna Devaraya period and the script has enough dose of action and entertainment.
Another intresting update is that the film will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 40 Cr which would be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara on his AK Entertainments banner.It is also said that the script requires massive sets and will also have some extensive VFX work.Special sets are being planned and the team is looking to start shoot from March end.
Sai Dharam Tej is currently busy shooting for ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ which is on the verge of completion.Veeru Potla who had huge successes in the form of ‘Ragada’ and ‘Bindaas’, later had failures like ‘Doosukeltha’ and ‘Eedu Gold Ehe’.So it would be interesting to see how Sai Dharam Tej and Veeru Potla will pull off a film of this kind!
