SA v IND – It’s a fantastic opportunity to perform well under these conditions, Dravid says

It’s an amazing challenge. It’s an opportunity that anyone can take advantage of, regardless of whether they are playing well or not.As a batsman, it’s something we always look forward to.Dravid said that playing away from home in good conditions and being able to test your skills against the best opposition at home was something Dravid enjoyed in his pre-match virtual media conference.

“These performances are a big part of your professional life.

It is an opportunity for everybody to show their leadership and give those performances that help the team win.Dravid said that it was something people and individuals will always remember.

Dravid made 624 runs over 22 innings, a very low average of 29.71 in South Africa as a player. He is well aware of the difficulties in adapting to the conditions in Rainbow Nation. It has been difficult because of the strange conditions.

You will need to take some time getting used to the wickets. It is especially noticeable when you start in Centurion, where you realize that the nets are slightly different from what you’re used to.

He also expressed his confidence in the Indian team’s previous experience in South Africa and said that it would help them adapt quickly to new conditions.Wriddhiman Shaha, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ishant Sharma are currently on the fourth leg of their tour.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Captain Virat Kohli along with Umesh Yadav and Ajinkya Rahane and Mohammed Shami will be on their third tour.Vice-captain KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, and vice-captain KL Rahul, are also on their second South African tour.

But I believe there’s been good quality and experienced in this team.We can be confident that many of our players have been traveling extensively in the past few years.

It has felt quite comfortable for the team.We have some new players in batting and bowling. However, there are also experienced guys who have been here before. These guys have played here before so they know the conditions. They will hopefully be able adapt quickly.”We have all done our part in training and done our best. Now it’s about adapting to the environment and executing when the game begins.”

Dravid believes that India is well-prepared, despite not having a warm-up match prior to their series opener. In the past, India’s series wins were accompanied by a strong lead-in period, especially leading up to the Test matches. This is just the reality of how things work at the moment with the schedules that we have. It’s also difficult to achieve exactly what you desire when there are so many COVID and quarantine situations.

But I believe the team has done a great job.The last week has seen some very high-quality practice.Centre-wicket was probably our best practice after the tour games.

We worked hard throughout the week and continued to train. We couldn’t ask for more in terms of conditions.Six to seven days of quality practice and net sessions were required.

The bowlers are hard working and able to keep up with their fitness training. We are prepared and happy.I am impressed by the men’s responses, their high-intensity practice sessions and the calm and relaxed atmosphere they have created around each other. The 48-year old concluded, “It’s been fantastic.”
