Jansen took Kohli’s wicket during India’s second innings of 174.Jansen was not only Kohli’s bowler, but also had 4/55 and 13.3 overs.He finished his Test debut match with 5/124.Klerksdorp’s 21-year old had previously bowled for India A cricketers during a four-day match tour of 2017.
Koos spoke highly about his sons’ meeting with Rahul Dravid (then India A coach), and revealed that they had also taken photos with the legend batter.

Jansen was able to hit a 43-ball 19, while Jansen came in at number 8.He also shared a stand with Kagiso Rabada of 37 runs for over ten innings.This allowed South Africa some resistance in the lower orders.
Jansen was also among the few players to make their IPL debuts prior to entering international cricket.In IPL 2021, he was part of two matches with the Mumbai Indians.
He wasn’t the first Indian tourist he made.Jansen was a South Africa ‘A” side member when he visited India in 2019.
The promising all-rounder was able to turn his life around thanks to Kohli’s wicket.
