A cricketer’s customary ritual of ringing the bell prior to the commencement of any match is an act of immense honour.This customary tradition of ringing the bell for five minutes has been practiced at London’s Lord’s Cricket Ground since 2007, and in Kolkata’s Eden Gardens since 2016.
