Seoul, December 27, : , South Korean President Moon Jaein’s approval score rose by 0.9 percentage point to 41.1 percent last week according to a poll released Monday.According to Realmeter surveys, the negative evaluation of Moon’s state affairs performance sank 1.5 percentage points to 55.3 percent.
According to Xinhua, support for Moon’s Democratic Party dipped by 0.4 percentage point last week to 32.7%.
People Power Party, the main opposition conservative party, won 37.2 percent of support last week.This is down 2.0 percentage points over the previous week.
People’s Party, a minor center-right party, received 7.9% approval.Next came the Open Democratic Party (minor centre-left) with 6.4% and the Minor Progressive Justice Party (3.5%).
The approval rating for presidential candidates rose 1.7 percentage point to 36.7 per cent, according to the Democratic Party.
Last week, support for Yoon Suk-yeol of the People Power Party fell by 4 percentage points to 40.4%
A presidential election in the country is set for March 9, 2022.
