Moscow, November 18, 2018 : Russia’s TASS news Agency signed a memorandum with Roscosmos, the state-owned space company.This agreement will allow Roscosmos to establish a permanent office on the International Space Station.After signing the document on Wednesday with Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin, Sergei Mikhailov of TASS stated that Alexander Misurkin (Russian Hero of Russia) will become the first space correspondent.” Xinhua reported.
Misurkin will leave Kazakhstan’s Baikonur Cosmodrome on December 8, to travel with a Japanese billionaire, his business associate and a Soyuz MS-20-equipped spacecraft on a commercial mission.

Rogozin stated at the ceremony, “The idea isn’t extravagant” since many Roscosmos Cosmonauts are already actively documenting their orbit activities.
After a lengthy discussion, Mikhailov stated that the state-owned space Agency accepted his interesting and significant proposal.

Rogozin stated, “When some very brave people engage in this, I would love it to be for all mankind, our whole society, showing space like it is.”
Currently, TASS has nearly 2,000 employees.It also operates regional news centers in St.Petersburg and Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg.There are also dozens more bureaus throughout Russia’s various regions.
