Moscow, December 14, 2015 : .Hossein Amir Abdullahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, and Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s Russian Foreign Minister had a telephone conversation about the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal. On Monday, top diplomats reaffirmed their agreement to reinstate the nuclear deal as it was originally written, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement.
According to Xinhua, they stressed the need for this in order to protect the rights and interests of everyone involved in the agreement, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Multilateral negotiations to save the Iran nuclear deal resumed on November 29 in Vienna, Austria.
