Mumbai 9 August : Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has a rakhi sibling and it’s “Anupamaa” star Rupali Ganguly. Rupali is seen tied the rakhi of Akshay and discussing her first meeting with Akshay.
She also talks about her first meeting with him.
Akshay is set to appear on the set of the reality series “Ravivaar with Star Parivaar’ to promote his film ‘Raksha Bhan’.
When both Akshay and Rupali celebrate the rakhi festival and ‘Anupamaa’, the famed ‘Anup calls her brother rakhi hers.
Rupali declares: “Akshay and I go way back.He is my Rakhi-brother.We lost contact for a while after he became such a popular persona.It can get a little awkward after some time.”
In her interview about her first encounter with Akshay, she says: “It was back in 1992 when I began tying “Rakhi” to him, and in 2022, I had the opportunity to meet Akshay again and tie another “rakhi” to him, because of the program.”
In the drama, families who are involved of daily dramas play with each other in various activities, including singing and dancing and the winner is proclaimed as “The Most Effective Parivaar’.
“Ravivaar with Star Parivaar” airs on Star Plus.
