The Indian captain has had to face an uphill battle after hundreds of supporters chased him after he went to an eatery in Mumbai to see with his friend.
ROhit Sharma who was taking breaks prior to the Asia Cup, was all but in the presence of thousands of fans eager to catch a glimpse of the superstar.Security guards were required to help him.Rohit was forced to return to his hotel with many of supporters waiting to greet Rohit at the front door.
From leading the Mumbai Indians in IPL and becoming the captain of the country in every format, Rohit always held a an enviable position in the hearts of his fans.
The 35-year-old has proven to be a star in regards of leadership qualities.He has yet to lose any T20I series since being the full-time captain .He also was instrumental in leading India to a 4-1 win against West Indies in the five-match T20Is.
