Patna 9 August : As speculation grew that the government may be changing in Bihar as well, Bihar’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) held an assembly at Rabri Devi’s home here.All party MPs, MLCs, and MLAs are invited to attend the event and the party’s highest leadership has ordered that they not carry mobile phones to the venue.
Bhai Viendra, senior RJD MLA of the Maner constituency in Patna district, said: “At present we are scheduled to attend the meeting.It is entirely up to Tejashwi Yadav and the state president Jagadanand Singh to decide on the future direction of action.As per their directions we will issue public statements.”
Manoj K.Jha Manoj K.Jha, the Rajya Sabha MP said; “We are currently in the wait and watch position.It’s the responsibility of Nitish Kumar to choose what he would like to do.”
The RJD leaders are awaiting the critical JD(U) meeting that is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.on Tuesday.
In the meantime, Janata Dal (United) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh reportedly met with Tejashwi Yadav in the late hours of the night and discussed the next course of action.An official confirmation of the meeting hasn’t been made.
