Mumbai, Nov 24, : Ridhi Dogra, who has entertained audiences with her performances on OTT, is now ready to venture into Bollywood with ‘Lakadbaggha,’ where she will be accompanied by Anshuman Jha. The actress was also seen in the crime thriller web series “Asur”.A character must have something that sticks with the audience’s mind.
Ridhi explains how she signs a character.
She says, “I am very cautious about the projects that I choose.It can’t be a generic character.
The character must add value, advance the story and carve her own niche.
She said that her Bollywood debut film ‘Lakadbaggha’ was her true character.
I play a Catholic Bengali police officer, a crime branch officer who finds himself in the middle of the animal trade industry.
Finally, she reveals the reason she chose this role: “A woman in man’s world, my character does not feel intimidated.She is in control.” That’s what attracted me to the role.I have started training for a number of action sequences.
Alok Sharma wrote the script and Victor Mukherjee directed the film.
The film is expected to open on the big screen this month.
