Renowned Kollywood comedian Vivek (59) died of a heart attack in Chennai at 5 am on Saturday.The entire film industry mourns Vivek’s death.
Vivek, who was vaccinated against Covid on Thursday, falling ill on Friday morning after reporting difficulty in breathing.Family members immediately joined Vivek in a private hospital.
Within 24 hours of receiving the Covid vaccine, Vivek’s condition worsened and doctors concluded that the vaccine had nothing to do with a heart attack.Vivek died on Saturday morning while being treated by doctors in the hospital.He has three children.One of his sons died of dengue fever six years ago.
Vivek, who has earned a reputation as a comedian, has a very good fan following in the state of Tamil Nadu.Vivek impressed the critics along with the audience with his comedy timing.
Also, as a TV host, he interviewed legendaries like Abdul Kalam and AR Rahman.The audience heaped praises on him for his interviewing skills.
Vivek received the ‘Padma Shri’ Award for his notable works in various social services.Vivek creates awareness among people on the programs run by public and private organizations.
