One of India’s biggest production studio, Yash Raj Films is coming up with a sequel to 2005’s super hit film ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ where Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji played a pair of con-job perpetrators and Amitabh Bachchan playing the police officer to catch them.
This sequel has Saif Ali Khan stepping into Abhishek Bachchan’s shoes for the movie which also features Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and newcomer Sharvari in crucial roles.
Touted as a “rebooted sequel”, this film is directed by Varun.V.Sharma, who has previously worked as an assistant director on YRF blockbusters ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
Now the latest update is that the film unit and cast have concluded shooting of this film yesterday.
It is being said that the whole team adhered to the Indian government’s recently announced safety protocols that allow movies to restart shooting in the COVID-19 era.This film reunites Rani and Saif after 11 years.They were last seen together in ‘Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic’..
The official Twitter handle of YRF tweeted saying, “And it’s a wrap! #BuntyAurBabli2 crew wraps up shooting of the film with a fun song while maintaining safety measures.” The banner also shared a photo in which Khan, Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari are seen happily posing together in Yash Raj Films studio in suburban Mumbai.
