‘Rangasthalam’ which was released in 2018 and went on to become one of the highest-grossing film after ‘Baahubali’, is now all set for its Tamil remake.Directed by Sukumar, the village period drama had Ram Charan playing the role of a partially deaf person while Samantha played the female lead.
Now the latest update is that Director turned Choreographer Raghava Lawrence is acting as the lead in this Tamil remake which is going to be directed by star director Lingusamy.It is also said that Nikki Galrani would be reprising Samantha’s role in this big-budget remake while ‘Saaho’ cinematographer Madhie will be handling the camera work.
Raghava Lawrence is currently busy with his Bollywood directorial debut titled ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ which is the official remake of his blockbuster hit ‘Kanchana’.The film will have Akshay Kumar reprising Raghava Lawrence’s role from the original.Stay tuned to this space for more updates on this project!
