Rana Daggubati starrer upcoming multilingual drama ‘Aranya’ which was scheduled to release on 2nd April in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi has been postponed due to the lockdown.This film is directed by Prabhu Solomon will also be released as ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ in Hindi and ‘Kaadan’ in Tamil which explores the relationship between a mahout and his elephant.
At one time, the makers had toyed with the idea of streaming it on the OTT platform directly.But have now finally decided to go for the theatrical release since the theatres are opened.

The latest news is that this film’s new release date has been announced.The film will now grace the theatres during Sankranthi in 2021.

The makers have announced this news by releasing a brand new poster of the film which has Rana, Vishnu Vishal looking furious, whereas elephants can be seen on the other side of the damaged fence wall.Also, a new motion video has been released too.The heroines in all three versions of the movies are Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain.

Rana Daggubati plays a 50-year-old man and will be essaying the role of a mahout named Bandev in the film which is being produced by Eros Motion Pictures.

Shantanu Moitra provides soundtracks and backgrounds score while A.R.Ashok Kumar cranks the cam
