The COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown was into everyone’s lives and the world paused for a moment.Rana Daggubati also recently stated in an interview with his sister-in-law Samantha Akkineni on Sam Jam that he went through severe health complications and heart surgery two years ago where he lost in complete body build and strength.
But none of this stopped the handsome hunk of the Tollywood film industry from achieving more and more every day.This recently married star who is currently enjoying a mini-vacation with his wife Miheeka on the occasion of the latter’s birthday is hitting back hard with a solid lineup of films for the next couple of years.
Rana is well-known for his unique script selection and variety of characters played in a wide range of platforms such as movies, TV shows, anchoring and also his new animated comedy over his YouTube channel, ‘Why are you?’ Moreover he completed the shoot of ‘Aranya’, a trilingual film which was being brewed for a couple of years that is directed by Prabhu Solomon and is finally planned for a release in January 2021.He also has finished the shoot of ‘Virata Parvam’ where he shared the screen with Sai Pallavi, Nandita Das, and Priya Mani that has a summer 2021 release.
Recently, Rana also agreed to act in the remake of ‘Ayyapanum Koshiyum’ which is a Malayalam Film starring Prithviraj and Biju Menon.The remake will be featuring Rana and Pawan Kalyan in opposite roles of this emotional drama.
Adding to the list, he also signed a deal with the OTT platform Netflix for a high-budgeted pan Indian project which is currently in the final stages of scriptwriting.The list then continues with a mythological drama ‘Hiranyakashyapa’ that will start shooting in early 2022 which is directed by Guna Shekar and produced by Suresh Productions in association with Fox Star Studios.
Apart from the lengthy list above, he also has a film with Milind Rau and is also finalizing the scripts for other films with strong content in his production house and the public is waiting with gleaming eyes to see what interesting films that Rana may produce.He also made it clear that he is healthy, fit, and fabulous so let’s wait and watch what this all-rounder actor has for his fans.
