Ram Pothineni who entered films with YVS Chowdary’s ‘Devadasu’ in 2006, is now one of the bankable young actors of Tollywood.He is fondly called as Energetic Star by his fans as he is known for his high-voltage performances and electrifying dance moves.
He has recently scored a huge blockbuster with ‘iSmart Shankar’ and is back into the top league.
The interesting news is that Ram Pothineni has now set a unique record on Youtube.
He has now become the first South Indian actor to have six back-to-back films which are dubbed in Hindi and crossed over 100 million views on YouTube.Except Ram Pothineni, no other Telugu hero has managed to have six movies that registered 100 million views till date.
Ram’s 2009 film, ‘Ganesh’ was recently dubbed as ‘Kshatriya: Ek Yoddha’ which had Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead.Previously, Ram starrer ‘Vunnadi Okate Zindagi’, ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’, ‘Nenu Sailaja’, ‘Hyper’ and ‘iSmart Shankar’ were his other Hindi dubbed movies that clocked over 100 million views on YouTube and now ‘Ganesh’ has also joined the same list.
Ram’s films are known for their action-oriented scenes coupled with peppy love tracks.Even though some of them failed in their theatrical release, his Hindi dubbed movies amassed millions of views on Youtube and his popularity among the North Indian movie lovers is increasing day by day.On the work front Ram is currently awaiting for the release of his next film ‘Red’ under Kishore Tirumala direction.
