Rajanna Sircilla Additional District Collector R.Anjayya died due to Corona.He succumbed to corona and was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.Many district officials and political leaders of the district mourned the death of Anjayya.
On the other hand, the Telangana state government has expedited the corona vaccination in Telangana.Chief Minister KCR directed Minister Harish Rao to finalize the modalities for identifying super-spreaders in the state.
It is estimated that there are about 30 lakh super-spreaders in the state.They have been scheduled to be vaccinated from the 28th of this month.
Initially, RTC bus drivers, auto drivers, hotel staff, salons, and vegetable sellers in GHMC will be vaccinated in phases.
It is reported that the recent lockdown restrictions imposed in the state to curb the spread of coronavirus are giving positive results.
There is a sharp decline in the new corona cases.Also, the positivity rate declined with the decrease in daily cases.At present, the positivity rate is recorded as 9.54 percent, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday.Also, for the 12th consecutive day, the recovery cases are higher than the positive cases.
