Jaipur 22 Nov : .Despite Sunday’s expansion of the Cabinet, things are not going well in Rajasthan’s Congress-led government. Ramkesh Meena is now an Independent MLA and has attacked former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot.He claimed that Congress would suffer in Rajasthan due to Pilot.
The Congress is going to suffer enormous losses if Pilot’s party takes over Rajasthan, and then contests the 2023 Assembly election under Pilot’s leadership.The proposal will be rejected by me.I will also speak out against it and inform the Congress High Command about the fact that Pilot will lead the party.Meena stated that she would not be supporting the party in such a case.
Pilot strongly opposed the appointment of Independent and BSP MLAs to the Cabinet.He claimed that party workers who contributed to the formation of the government must be recognized, not those who challenged Congress candidates.
Pilot camp opposed the introduction of Independent MLAs to the Cabinet.The Gehlot-supporting MLAs were not allowed to be in the Cabinet.
To make matters easier, Gehlot has appointed three Independent MLAs (Ramkesh Lodha, Sanyam Lodha, and Babulal) as its advisors.Six advisors now serve as advisors to the CM.
Meena said also that Pilot should be expelled from Rajasthan now that Congress’ high command has granted his demand by allocating portfolios to Cabinet leaders.
Meena stated that the Congress lost 50 seats in 2018 Assembly elections due to Pilot’s presence.
He said that Congress would have been able to win 150 seats if the charge had been against Gehlot.However, Pilot’s presence will mean that the party could also lose the 2023 Assembly elections.
13 independent MLAs stood beside Gehlot during the last year’s political crisis in Rajasthan and saved the government.None of them has been appointed to the Cabinet.
Gehlot recently stated that it was impossible to forget the contributions of MLAs.They are now disappointed to have been excluded from the state Cabinet.
