Patna, Oct 13 (IANS) : The National {Investigation|Examination} {Agency|Company|Firm} (NIA) on Tuesday {carried out|performed} searches here at the {residence|home|house} of {a person|an individual} who {allegedly|presumably|apparently|supposedly} {transferred|moved} {huge|big|substantial} {amounts|quantities} into the {bank account|checking account|savings account} of Ningkhan Sangtam, a self-styled Major of NSCN (IM) in connection with its probe into the Purnea Arms case, {officials|authorities} {said|stated}.
An NIA {official|authorities} {said|stated} that the searches were {carried out|performed} at the {residence|home|house} of Chandra Vijay Pratap aka Sushil and {premises|facilities|properties} of Sanmario Pharmaceuticals Private Limited.
The {official|authorities} {said|stated} that Pratap is the Director of the {company|business}.
The {official|authorities} {said|stated} that NIA {investigation|examination} {revealed|exposed} that {a large number|a a great deal} of {sophisticated|advanced} {prohibited|restricted|forbidden} weapons and {ammunition|ammo} were {supplied|provided} by Sangtam, a self-styled Major of NSCN (IM) through an arms {dealer|dealership} of Bihar to the absconding {accused|implicated} Bhikhan Ganjhu, Zonal {Commander|Leader} of the Tritya Prastuti Committee (TPC), a Naxal terrorist gang.
