New Delhi, November 21st : .After farmers decided that they would continue to stir the law until it was repealed, Rahul Gandhi, ex-President of Congress, stated on Sunday that the public wasn’t ready to believe Prime Minister. He tweeted, “People who suffered false rhetoric don’t want to believe the words by the Prime Minister!” Farmers’ Satyagraha continues.”
Farmers leaders remain firm in their earlier stated agenda.They will protest until there is legal backing to the minimum support price (MSP), and all three controversial farm laws are repealed constitutionally in the Parliament.
Other demands from farmers are to pay tribute to martyr farmers at the Parliament’s winter session, which begins on November 29th.
They also want to withdraw FIRs from farmers and to compensate the family members of those who died.
Numerous farmers’ organizations have protested for more than a year, demanding the repeal of three farm laws.
Many farmers are camping at different entry points to the capital since November 26, 2020.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Friday that he would repeal three laws passed last year by Parliament.
He also said that the Constitution process for getting rid of these laws will be discussed in the Winter Session of Parliament, which begins November 29.Modi appealed to farmers to stop protesting and go back to work.
