New Delhi, Aug 10 : Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday revealed that she was positive for Covid infection for the second time in two months. In a tweet, she said: “Tested positive for Covid (again!) today.I will be in my home, and following all procedures,” she said in a tweet.
The Congress general secretary been positive for the virus in June.
The evening of Tuesday, the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge also tested positive.
“I have been tested positive for COVID19.
I ask anyone who got in contact with me recently to seek precautions,” Kharge had tweeted.
In the meantime, India reported 16,047 fresh Covid infection with 54 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the latest data published by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
