Priyamani Joins Rajesh Touchriver’s ‘Cyanide’

Tollywood’s veteran beauty Priyamani is on a roll in her second innings and is grabbing many interesting roles these days.She recently ventured into web space and has acted in an important role in the super hit web series ‘The Family Man’.

She will also be seen in the second season which is up for release soon.

Priyamani is currently shooting for Rana’s ‘Virata Parvam’ where she plays the role of Swarnakka, an ex-Naxalite.

She will also be seen playing the wife of Venkatesh in the movie ‘Naarappa’ which is the official remake of Dhanush’s blockbuster Tamil film ‘Asuran’.

Now the latest news is that Priyamani has also joined the cast of award-winning director Rajesh Touchriver’s ‘Cyanide’, a film based on the notorious criminal Cyanide Mohan, the physical education teacher in Karnataka who killed 20 young women by giving them cyanide.

This case has attracted the nation’s attention back in 2013 and it was a sensation.Cyanide Mohan would marry women with low financial status and then kill them by giving cyanide pills.

In December 2013, Cyanide Mohan was sentenced to death by the court.

Priyamani is said to be seen as a Special Investigation Officer in the film which is being made as a Pan Indian film.Pradeep Narayanan is producing the movie.The regular shooting will kick-start from January and the makers are considering to rope in actors from other industries too.
