The institution that claims itself as the foundation stone for the empowerment of women and girls, has been the source of this shameful act.
According to sources, the college runs on strict rules as per the Trust that oversees its operations.
Girl students who are menstruating should not go into the kitchen and temple.After the hostel warden complained that few sanitary napkins were found in the kitchen, the principal reportedly paraded the 68 girls to the restroom and asked them to remove their undergarments.
Later, they were checked whether they are menstruating or not.
Many student organizations have called out for strict action against the college.
Meanwhile, no official police complaint is lodged on this matter.
